Aparnaa Bajpai is an Indian film actress who has appeared in Tamillanguage films. She is best known for her role in the 2010 film,Easan, directed by Sasikumar.
Early life
Aparnaa Bajpai was born to Ramesh and Sushma Bajpai, whilst she hastwo brothers Ashish and Arpit. Aparnaa did her schooling fromSt.Xaviers.Sr Sec School Chandigarh before going on to pursuecollege in Delhi, which she is currently taking a break from tocomplete professional assignments. She is currently situated inChennai whilst filming for her Tamil films. Aparnaa's close friendis Disha Pandey, who has also recently made her debut in Tamilfilms.
Career
Aparnaa began her career doing modelling and appearing in variouscommercials, including one for a soft drink with AamirKhan. Noted director Sasikumar selected Aparnaa for a rolein Easan after spotting her in such an advertisement. The filmfeatured her opposite Vaibhav Reddy, as Reshma Shivaraj, a richKannada language college girl and unlike other actresses, Aparnaadubbed for her role herself. The film opened in December 2010to critical acclaim, with the ensemble cast being praised as"near-perfect", with Aparnaa's performance being described as"fabulous" by critics.
She will appear in a double role in her forthcoming film,Karuppampatti, opposite Ajmal, whilst she has also signed tobe a part of Sasikumar's production venture, Thiru Nagar. Furthermore,she is also playing a lead role in the upcoming Telugu film, OManasa.
