Divya Singh (Hindi:'¦¿µ¯¾ ¸¿¹') (born 21 July 1982) is formercaptain of the India women's national basketball team. Singh ledthe Indian women's basketball team at the 2006 MelbourneCommonwealth Games. She is one of the best women basketballers inIndia,^citation needed] known for her game skills, leadershipqualities, academic strength and personality. She iscurrently^when?] studying sports management at the Universityof Delaware (UD) in, Newark, Delaware, and worked as an assistantwomen's basketball coach for UD. Singh has been a successful coach at many colleges in Delhi includingSt. Stephen's College and Jesus & Mary College. She is also working asa coach with the Delhi women's basketball team.
